Our story

The Rainwater Exchange grew out of Cqure Water, founded in 2013 by Ron Van Sickle when he discovered the well at his Central Texas home was running low.

An engineer by trade, he designed a low-maintenance, cost-effective rainwater collection system. Thirteen years later, that one system has become hundreds of installations — delivering reliable, clean, and delicious water to families across the Hill Country and Central Texas.

After hundreds of installations and over a decade figuring out what works in the field, we built The Rainwater Exchange — a shared platform where knowledge, homeowners, installers, and products all connect and flow together. Same standard we built our reputation on, now open to the industry — because rainwater becomes mainstream faster when proven systems, not guesswork, lead the way.
